Why We Give
We serve a God who is lavish in his generosity. In fact, there is simply no gift that compares with what the Father has given in his son, Jesus Christ. Jesus left the glory of heaven to become a man—to fulfill the righteous demands of a holy God, to demonstrate the power of the coming Kingdom, and to ultimately give his life on the Cross as a substitute for sinners. Jesus rose victorious over death and through faith in him sinners are reconciled to God. When we offer our finances, it’s in response to this amazing gift. Our giving is an expression of thankfulness and worship to the only One worthy—the God of grace. Thank you for being “a cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9.7) who is “generous and ready to share” (1Tim. 6:18). Our young church simply could not accomplish the same degree of gospel ministry without your faithful and generous financial partnership!
